Guinness Irish Stout Soap
The oh-so-popular Guinness Irish Stout was developed by Arthur Guinness in 1759, and to this day, remains the most popular alcoholic drink in Ireland. It is said that the antioxidants that are present in Guinness stout are beneficial to the heart - and we know that antioxidants are also great for the skin!
Beer soap, in fact, has many benefits. The hops in beer contain skin softening amino acids which help soothe irritation. Vitamin B and other essential vitamins moisturize the skin. The brewer's yeast has antibacterial properties, which can help fight acne. Beer soap is also fantastic for hair - the B vitamins help repair and restore a healthy look to the hair.
We use Guinness Irish Stout in place of the water in our soap. The resulting light scent is from the beer itself and the other oils that go into making the soap. There are no fragrances added to any of our beer soaps.
Beer soaps are known for their creamy lather - and we know how creamy Guinness stout is - so lather up! Sláinte!
100% natural, hand-poured and cut, small batch soap. Tested on friends, not animals. Vegan appropriate. For all skin types.
Because our soaps are all handmade in small batches, they tend to look slightly different each time we make them, so not all products will appear exactly as shown in product photos on our website. This is the nature of handmade soap, and we thank you for understanding!
